In the shadow of a sharp exchange between the Presidential Palace and the Government, a key decision was made for the financial liquidity of Polish hospitals. president Karol Nawrocki signed an amendment to the Act on the Medical Fund, thus unlocking the transfer of nearly PLN 3.6 billion to the NFZ budget. This decision, announced during the "To the Rescue of Healthcare" summit, is intended to be an ad hoc dam to the increasing wave of indebtedness of medical facilities.
