How to talk to politicians?

agatapisze.pl 4 years ago

This material was to appear before the first round, but I was left with inspiration, and the amount of hatred made me decide to let go. He was later scheduled to appear on Monday as 1 of the summaries of the stages of this bizarre campaign. However, Karol Paciorek, who is the hero of this material, played a prank on me, turned my plans and informed me that another interview would appear – possibly the most anticipated, due to the fact that with the current president.

Most of the politicians we get to know in conventional media, from biluoards and flyers, and increasingly just from their profiles in social media. However, everything is beautifully directed and tuned, and statements in the media are usually authorized earlier or the interview participants know the questions.

For a long time, I have been looking at and exploring the phenomenon of influencer marketing in politics. The preferences of Polish influencers and celebrities are fascinating to me, sometimes surprising, but I admire their form of application even more. any are more or little direct, but whatever it is, they bring many values. I'm talking about it in lectures, but I'm yet going to compose these thoughts together.

I'll admit I've been waiting for individual to break out and question all candidate in the field close to their channel. I waited and nothing. I've had specified urges myself, but first of all, I'm besides tiny a creative, and second of all, I'll always be a small bit on any side due to the fact that they have a occupation and a past.

One effort was made by Luke Jacobiak of Luke’s 20m2 channel. He invited candidate Bronisław Komorowski to his studio in the 2015 presidential campaign. This was expected to be the interview cycle for all the candidates, but it didn't work out. On the 1 hand, a pleasant warming of the image of the then president, on the other, a super screw-up. 1 interview ended. Word is that Komorowski's staff paid for this placement. However, the fact will be hard to obtain.

But not prolonging. It's done! Karol Paciorek, known as half the crew of the Light organization channel, but now besides an independent podcast-youtube reporter from the Impoderabilia channel, has taken up this challenge. He invited to his studio the leading six candidates – Bosak, Biedronia, Holovnia, Kosiniak-Kamysz, Kidawa-Błońska (listed as Rafał Trzaskowski) and Andrzej Duda. More importantly, all the interviews yet took place. Last, due to the fact that on Thursday before the second circular there was a gathering with the current reigning Andrzej Duda.

The rules were clear and the same for all invited candidates. No cuts, authorizations, cutting awkward moments, sending questions before a conversation (only thematic ranges), one-hour conversation, no encores and punches. 1 for 1 – candidate versus Karol Paciorek.

More importantly – Charles admitted that the speeches were completely free for candidates and no of the staff paid for participation.

A akin strategy – questions of fast shots to start, then the evaluation of another candidates (unfortunately it was not possible to do it in all), a loose conversation on alternatively worldview subjects, and at the end the camera's dedication for a minute to be able to advertise itself.

All facts were checked by the Demagog.pl portal, which prepared #factchecked to confirm whether there was a lie, manipulation or data was indicated correctly. This procedure brings much substance to the conversation.

Let me not prolong my comment in a fewer sentences on peculiar conversations. In this case, I effort to keep a large distance and not justice by my views, alternatively look at the material layer from the side. Especially since these were the links most frequently sent to my friends who called and wrote with the question "Agata, tell me who to vote for".

I will measure chronologically according to material publications. The last 2 candidates will be a small harsher.

Then I invitation you to travel into the planet of politics.

Krzysztof Bosak

Krzysztof Bosak appeared on the first fire at Paciorek. The youngest of the candidates who with influencers (right on YouTube) had any dealings.

Bosak definitely looks very good, he responds in substance, you can see that he believes what he says. After the conversation, you can definitely conclude that:

  • He is simply a good talker and individual spent quite a few time preparing him for the conversation.
  • There are no tense tics, he answers calmly,
  • uses large words to catch up on the young look of substance,
  • He talks a lot about values, interests,
  • He firmly believes in his beliefs at times desperately wanting to impose them on the caller.

It's amazing to insist on your point. This is peculiarly evident erstwhile he is trying to prove his point in the context of LGBT “ideology”, where he even gives his definition. It can be said that at times he tried to “evangelize” Paciorek and a small convincing him to his views, which is not the appropriate behaviour at specified a meeting.

His statements, as Demagog checked, are true.

Here you can see that Charles was somewhat biased towards the interviewer, and at times his dislike of views was seen. However, without justification – it was the first political interview in this cycle and the ground was besides difficult.

In general, Bosak did very well. Although it was hard for me to perceive personally, it was an interview consistent with the candidate's image, loose but not friendly, even though the gentlemen switched to "You".

Simon Holovnia

The second interview and the last 1 in the studio before the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic in Poland. Then the run had to change its character.

From the very beginning, the Holovnia has shown itself as a individual of large faith, which can at the same time encourage but besides reject. He is definitely 1 of the best speakers among the candidates, but so for politics he is besides emotional, which is clearly seen in this conversation. respective conclusions:

  • strong motion and frequent face touching – even though the conversation comes easy to him, it is besides apparent that the situation is not very comfortable for him,
  • is not inhibited and is carried away,
  • is highly critical, but at the same time tries to advertise as much as possible,
  • strong proof of your right, sometimes outrage.

I remember most of all erstwhile he admits to deficiency of political experience, which is simply a fact, but at the same time he tries to reward himself by showing himself a immense amount of action. erstwhile Paciorek tells him that experience in action is something another than that in politics, Holovnia does not hide outrage. Unfortunately, it goes through his full campaign, and sometimes it's a small dismissive. We gotta admit that this is 1 of his major disadvantages that he did not work on in the campaign, and on the last consecutive line these behaviors appeared notoriously. It's fair to say that the beads exposed any of his weaknesses.

Nevertheless, the conversation is worth questioning and I would sincerely like to see the continuation after the election and see which direction it would go now.

What did the Holownia get out of it? Definitely dozens (maybe respective hundred) of people who have found out or confirmed that he is simply a good candidate. Definitely an interview before the virus itself was a good incentive to prepare for an uneasy online campaign. This interview could be much worse if it was online.

Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish

Before him, the challenge was definitely the hardest, due to the fact that it was the first interview created online between studios at the zoo. On the 1 hand, it is simply a pity, due to the fact that nothing can replace a real conversation in private, and on the another hand you can see quite a few interesting things about a candidate.

I interviewed Kosiniak twice. First without image, then in video form. To be honest, he amazed me, but at the same time he didn't make me like the candidate more or less.

Several crucial elements can be clearly distinguished here:

  • The calmest of the candidates, the most subdued, not loud, but at the same time so calm that they fainted,
  • stone face, minimal emotion, sometimes a tiny smile, but never mocking, but honest,
  • excessive eloquence, besides pathetic vocabulary which may origin average people to misunderstanding half of his words and messages—the trap of wisdom,
  • stone face, stone stature. Sometimes I virtually felt Kosiniak was a cardboard character. He blinked very little, face with the same expression, moments of cold and absent. Of course, it has its advantages, but besides its drawbacks. The downside is rigidity and building a barrier even greater than the Internet-camera distance. Plus – professionalism and not getting out of balance. I don't know what to do to sit so rigidly and betray so small with my face – sometimes it was hard to read whether the question was a surprise or not.

A large decision from Paciorek that the screen is half-divided due to the fact that you can closely observe the facial expressions of both participants in the conversation. The surprise is the strong formal language – not the transition to Ty. I lacked an evaluation of candidates, which in this series is 1 of my favourite elements.

The downside of this conversation is that the candidate may not hit his preposition for young people who are possible viewers of the program. Unfortunately, I am incapable to verify the exact mark group of Charles, due to the fact that I have no insight into statistics, but I think that the dominant group are people aged 18-25. To them, the candidate may prove besides rigid, besides hard to receive, and at the same time.

In Kosiniak you can see a strong emphasis on youth, but connected with experience and successes that he does not hide, but besides does not boast excessively.

There's quite a few cognition in him that Demagog was happy to test. Only 2 tests showed manipulation. After reading the justification, however, it cannot be clearly admitted that errors were made intentionally, or alternatively escapes in memory caused by a large amount of processed infromation.

Robert Biedron

This is in full 1 of the more interesting cases, due to the fact that Robert had already appeared on a 30-minute conversation with Charles somewhere on the end of 2018 erstwhile Robert was forming Spring.

This earlier discussion has definitely influenced the flow of discussion and greater freedom for both speakers. Both Charles and Robert behaved like good classmates in the yard and friends in 1 class.

The biggest advantage of Biedronia is its visual consistency, which besides appeared in the studio at Paciorek. Technically, definitely the best organized interview. Very professionally created studio Biedron, good sound and image. In these hard times, the squad has done well.

A fewer lessons to learn from the interview:

  • nice reception of presented postulates – it does not usage hard words, but simple and transparent wordings for moments beyond trivial,
  • The immutability of the main ideas for years – he keeps talking about the same, the same words, and at the same time tries hard to show that his views are the only right ones. At times he emphasizes any of the issues, as if he wanted to force Charles to delete X here and now by his name.
  • Its biggest disadvantage is mantrating the same texts, repeating from Toruń the same wordings and naivety that “we will be in 2 turn”. In addition, the words "I'm just a guy from Krosn" could not miss the words "I'm just a guy from Krosn" – that's not actual for a long time, but alternatively an effort to show myself as a average and simple man, which captures his education and professional experience. It was besides “we did it in Słupsk, we will do it all over Poland” – here it is slow getting ridiculous, repeating its text.
  • A lot of unnecessary aggression and formulations towards another candidates – the attack that is most crucial in this interview. Unfortunately, this is consistent with the full campaign. In my opinion, it was a major mistake that there was more lip talk than a substantive and affirmative message, and people are just tired of it.

The full interview's fine. He won't particularly, but it won't hurt either. It's just besides bad there's not adequate distance here that Charles has for the another candidates. It was besides friendly, and people who would see it without a broad context would think it was a setup.

It's besides worth looking at checks from Demagog. Despite truthfulness, there was besides a very large mistake. Interestingly, a mistake that has not been caught before, and in the campaigns of Biedronia has been appearing for respective years – it is Słupsk's debt.

Robert Biedron's message is false, due to the fact that at the time he became president of Słupsk, it was the twelfth city in Poland in terms of debt in relation to income and twenty-thirds – given the absolute value of debt.

I would like to personally say that “no candidate has always appeared at the Equality Parade”. This is simply a mistake and a very large manipulation, due to the fact that already then the authoritative candidate was Rafał Trzaskowski, and he regularly appears at the parade in Warsaw.

Rafał Trzaskowski

This interview belongs by far to the most unusual, but in fact this is the full Trzaskowski campaign. The bead first invited the then candidate – Margaret Kidawa-Błońska. The interview was due to take place moments before May 10, but the candidate suspended and again suspended the campaign, which is why Charles resigned from seeking this meeting. The fresh candidate appeared in the studio (or alternatively at the zoom) before collecting the appropriate number of signatures.

There was stress on his face. The candidate looks a small sloppy – a crushed shirt. Sound and image stay much to be desired. Especially considering the fact that both Poorron and Kosiniak, despite distant interviewing, were much better prepared technically. That's a definite downside to this speech. Seeing how powerfully the Trzask run went forward especially in the method and visual context of the interview a fewer weeks later would look much better.

As I have already stressed at the very beginning, the candidate was rather fresh on this site, and in the following weeks his behaviour in front of the cameras changed, and the candidate himself is better suited and expressed more subduing.

My main observations:

  • substantive preparation – answers questions and no question seems surprised,
  • He is calm, but stressed, sometimes he does not control the facial expressions and seems overly sad and satisfied at the same time,
  • Attitude – bent back, leans to the camera, which takes distant quite a few freedom and sometimes sways. The staff could definitely supply a more comfortable space for an hour's interview.
  • a small bit of a word, hard questions arise – Stewler tries to give him a small push to answer, suggesting that the answer is yes or no, and Trzaskowski prefers to answer the ship.

Definitely this interview helped voters find out who and why the president of Warsaw is. Get to know his motivations, views, and besides perceive to him in a somewhat different form than he has been shown on tv so far. Image – good, but possible not full exploited.

Demagog pointed out only 1 of his responses and labelled as Manipulation.

I do not want to defend a candidate here, but I believe that manipulation was not intentional, and it was indiscriminate.

I'm a small sorry there was no overtime in the second live circular to equalize the chance with a candidate opponent who had no courage to appear in the studio before the first round.

Andrzej Duda

Another interview was to take place, and yet unexpectedly it took place. Unfortunately, all candidates showed up before the 1st circular at Paciorek's, however, the president applying for re-election appeared respective twelve hours before the run ended. In my political opinion, it is simply a conflict for the voices of young people whose profile is simply not missing.

Interestingly, the material announced at 4:00 p.m. did not appear. Everyone expected erstwhile and if he would show up. As we learned from the Stories of the Stairs there was a anticipation that the material would be blocked and not aired at all.

Honestly? I think it'd be better if they said not to publish, due to the fact that it would show a lot about him... just TVP and nothing else can air with him. On the another hand, the hold besides made you think...

As Paciorek emphasizes – the interview was inactive unauthorized and without cognition of questions. 1 failure in this case was the deadline – that is, Thursday before the election. Personally, I powerfully argue this agreement, but without this interview, the conversation cycle would be incomplete.

A fewer of my observations on the fresh release after the interview:

  • avoiding eye contact, tense eyes that didn't want to meet Charles,
  • stuttering and very fast speaking – at times hard and unnaturally clenching sentences as if he were afraid he would forget what to say (normally there is no speech in the media, conferences or rallies)
  • moving shoulders – as if the chair burned him or something itched his back
  • laughter and laughter tantrums at untimely moments
  • Strong nervousness – a grimace on the face especially erstwhile Charles started talking about procession and began to discuss what is different from showing his religion to showing his sexuality in public.

At the end you can see the glowing forehead – that is, it got a small sweaty during the conversation. Sure, there were cameras in the studio, so I don't want to say it's a 100% fact, but this nervousness was definitely visible. Unlike Kamysz, he was not tense, but artificially wanted to be loose – a akin effect as in Morawiecki in Blowek. My verdict is this – he wanted to be very relaxed but unfortunately he failed. He achieved an other effect indicating his loss. Plus these inserts (Mr. Editor), which powerfully show that he is trained and has problem adapting to the kind of conversation.

This interview is improbable to convince the voters of Trzaskowski to the Duda website, nor will it push the unchangeable electorate distant from the vote. It can only be a base for the undecided to meet the candidate.

The President's Demagog was kind adequate to him, and only erstwhile came the checkup. In this case, without reservation. The court, however, that due to dynamics (recorded Wednesday evening, publication Thursday afternoon) Demagog did not check the material besides thoroughly and by far respective issues worth checking were omitted.

That's it.

In general, this full series was 1 of the better moves of this campaign, and voters yet could see candidates outside mostly set interviews on TV. I powerfully urge (even those dedicated to candidates who did not get to the 2nd tour).

Who knows, possibly this series will make individual change their head and go to the election even though he wasn't going?

Finally, my top 4 top interviews:

  1. Moss-Kamish,
  2. Loin
  3. Poorer
  4. Trzaskowski

None were perfect, but I will return to each of them especially in the case of presentations and reflections on the influencer marketing in politics.

However, the most crucial winner of this series is Karol Paciorek – for his determination, taking the challenge, realization, nerves and time devoted to preparing himself and showing that there are no impossible things.

Not extending. If you get to this place, thank you and I hope to meet you at the polling uranium on Sundays. See you later!
