During a Saturday press conference in Kraków, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz was asked about the procedure he spoke about on Friday at TVN24 by prof. Andrzej Zoll, referring to the situation related to the examination of election protests after the presidential election.
It was about convening the National Assembly and then suspending it without accepting president Elect's oath. Then Marshal Simon Holovnia would become acting president and in this situation he could sign the Act of incidental and another laws in healing the judiciary.
Kosiniak-Kamish stated that it would be "very dangerous and destructive to the state". “We as PSL will never be active in this. I think it would be dangerous for the stableness and functioning of the Polish State and interior safety and external Polish State," said the head of the MON.
Kosiniak-Kamish: we accept election result
He pointed out that justice had to be repaired. — We want a constitutional reset, a fresh chapter on the Constitutional Court. Karol Nawrocki won the election. We had another candidate, but we accept the election result. I believe that building normality in this area is needed,” Kosiniak-Kamish stressed.
He added that all electoral protest must be considered and there must be an answer to it, due to the fact that there is no way to ignore the people's voice on this issue, but to question the electoral result in any way, origin uncertainty and destabilisation is not essential in the face of external threats.
