The case began with a declaration of fraud made by a ‘bank employee’ method. The injured, older Pole was manipulated in a telephone conversation and gave the alien $50,000 and 2 bank cards with PIN numbers. The information immediately went to the criminals who rapidly began operations. Analysis of data and collected materials led to a circumstantial location where the detention took place.
On the spot, police found a 24-year-old alleged "political refugee" from Belarus, whom they recognized as a individual receiving money from the victim. During the search, crucial amounts of cash were secured: 135 500 PLN, 8660 USD and 200 EUR. During the operation another man came to the office – a 22-year-old alleged "war refugee" from Ukraine, who declared that he had delivered a package containing money – PLN 39 thousand. As he himself admitted, it was not his first specified course – he had previously received cash from various places in the country and delivered it to the same company. He was besides detained.
Disgusting immigrants were transported to the territory Attorney's Office Warsaw-Prague South, where they heard allegations of fraud. At the prosecutor's request, the court decided to apply a three-month interim detention measurement to suspects.
As it turned out, the case is developmental. The Wawra police proceed to process and gather further evidence. Both detainees may hear additional charges of akin crimes that may have been committed throughout the country.
