The subject of the conference focuses on the common penetration of autonomous technologies utilized in both military and non-military sectors. The event aims to item the function of technological and innovative synergies, which allows faster improvement and efficient usage of autonomous solutions. Autonomous vehicles are presented here as key elements of modern systems, which are crucial for national security, as well as for the improvement of civilian infrastructure and services.

SCOPE

The Conference of AUTONOMIC VEHICLES - modern technologies for state safety will cover the following thematic areas:

RECLAMA

• dual-use technologies: sensors, AI algorithms, 5G connectivity, edge computing;
• implementation of autonomy in recognition, logistics, transport and rescue systems;
• control of autonomous systems;
• regulation, interoperability standards and integration challenges;
• integration of autonomous vehicles with critical (military and non-military) infrastructure;
• adaptation of autonomy to hybrid conditions and asymmetric hazards;
• utilizing artificial intelligence to make decisions in real time;
• innovation ecosystems and the improvement of open origin technologies;
• the impact of autonomous vehicles on military strategies and doctrines and civilian safety strategies;
• ethical and social aspects of autonomy – responsibility, trust and transparency;
• economical and logistical benefits of integration of autonomous systems;
• autonomous vehicles in a full-scale armed conflict – experience and exploitation concepts.

During the conference, a panel discussion on:

• A common way of autonomy – challenges and opportunities for military-civil cooperation in the improvement of autonomous vehicles

The Panel will focus on the dialog between military, defence industry, civilian sector and the technological community on the possibilities and limitations of the joint improvement of autonomous technologies. The discussion will besides address safety, interoperability and technology transfer issues that find the effectiveness of implementation in both sectors.

In addition, during the event, a static display of unmanned vehicles was planned, which will make an chance to present the latest method thought proposed to the Armed Forces of Poland in order to increase operational efficiency and improve the safety of soldiers.
