Central Examination Commission (CKE) announced that The results of the 8th grade 2025 exam will be published on 4 July 2025. This is simply a crucial minute in the educational way of pupils graduating from primary school – both due to the formal completion of the education phase and the recruitment process for secondary schools.
Timetable of the examination 2025
As scheduled:
- Main examination held between May 13, 2025, at an hr 9:00 p.m. (Polish language May 13, mathematics May 14, abroad language May 15)
- For students who for random reasons failed to take the exam in May, it was foreseen additional period from 10 to 12 June 2025
Date of publication of the results and issue of certificates
- 4 July 2025 is the day on which CKE publishes the results online – students since morning, about an hour. 8:30 to 9:00 p.m., will be able to check their results in the ZIU strategy (ziu.gov.pl)
- The same day schools will receive and issue certificates confirming the results – students can collect them personally.
Where and how to check the results?
- Online – ZIU strategy (Integrated User Interface). You will need: PESEL and an examination code or login and password provided by the school.
- At school – certificates will be available on the same day as online results.
If problems arise with logging in or getting results, the school and OKE are ready to supply support.
What will the certificate show?
Each certificate shall contain:
- Percentage – determining how many points the student obtained from the subject.
- Centilic result – the position of the student towards another students in the country. Example: centil 80 means that 80% of students achieved the same or lower score.
This structure facilitates comparison of results and planning further stages of education.
Importance of results for recruitment
Although the eighth-grader exam does not have a credit threshold or a form of authoritative ‘fall’, high percent and centilic score is crucial in recruitment to advanced schools, technicians and manufacture advanced schools
- Recruitment usually lasts from July until the end of the month.
- The consequence of the examination is to 100 pointsand the next 100 comes from a certificate and additional achievements.
What is worth doing after announcing the results?
Here are the most crucial steps:
- Accurate analysis of results: it is worth looking at the strengths and weaknesses that can influence the school's choice.
- Immediate submission of recruitment documents: Start of application is usually a week after the results are announced.
- Consultation of selection: conversations with teachers and professional advisors are valuable erstwhile planning a further educational path.
Support and cancellation
It is worth knowing that:
- There is no anticipation of cancellation from the consequence of the eighth grade exam
- However, the student may request inspection of your examination work (within 6 months of the publication of the results) and possibly request verification of full points within 2 working days of the inspection.
In the position of further education
– 4 July 2025 becomes a key day for all eighth-grader. It not only closes the primary education phase, but besides starts an intense recruitment period for secondary schools.
