The U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has released a Mandarin-language recruitment video targeting Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) soldiers. The U.S. intelligence agency's action is interpreted as an effort to exploit tensions within the Chinese armed forces following a series of high-profile purges at the highest levels of command.
