Niger announces mobilization and talks of war with France

The chief of staff of the country's leader, General Amadou Abdramane, stated that Niger is entering a fresh phase of relations with France. According to him, the country has not been at war before, but the current situation is forcing preparations for specified a scenario. The general stressed that the mobilization is to include both the armed forces and civilian structures in order to increase the country's defence preparedness.
