Head of defence committee on SAFE: unnecessary dispute

On Friday, the Diet passed a law on the Financial Instrument for Enhancing Security, which is essential for borrowing from the EU's SAFE facility. 236 deputies voted in favour of the law, 199 voted against it, and 4 deputies abstained. Law and Confederation MPs were against the bill.
