Camouflage improves vehicle survivability in combat conditions

One of the reasons for the dense losses in the war in Ukraine is the omission of camouflage and camouflage painting on Russian military vehicles. Meanwhile, studies and combat experience have shown that appropriate quality camouflage coverings and camouflage painting make tanks, transporters and BWPs harder to detect, importantly expanding their safety. Fortunately, this relation has been recognized in NATO, including the Polish Armed Forces.
