The interior safety Agency revoked the safety clearance, giving Mariusz Błaszczak access to classified information. According to the Vice-Chief of the ABW, Colonel. Paweł Chomentowski may be tempted to charge me with revealing plans of Tusk's first government to defend Poland on the Vistula line – the erstwhile Minister of Defence informed me.

Mariusz Błaszczak heard allegations in March on the declassified during the 2023 election run part of the plan to usage the Polish Armed Forces "Warta". It is archived papers on strategical operational planning, which have been given strict secret and secret clauses. According to the General Prosecutor's Office, the then Deputy Prime Minister and the head of the MON "advised established non-authorised persons to consult these materials to find these papers at the Military Historical Office, and subsequently made 2 decisions of 28 July 2023 and 31 July 2023 abolishing the classified position of them". The information was later included in the election run material.

Mr Błaszczak, following the withdrawal of the safety statement, was to hear from the ABW that ‘no explanation would be able to remove the actual grounds for uncovering reasonable uncertainty about the vulnerability to blackmail or pressure.’

RECLAMA

The safety clearance is an authoritative paper issued by the interior safety Agency or Military Counterintelligence Service (depending on whether it is simply a civilian or military post) which confirms that the individual or entity afraid may have access to classified information. That is, those that are protected from disclosure for the sake of national security.

A safety certificate may be obtained upon application for an examination. After a affirmative verification, the paper is issued for a limited period of time. The withdrawal of the certificate is governed by the Act on the protection of classified information dated 5 August 2010. The issuing authority may revoke it erstwhile a individual ceases to give a warrant of secrecy (e.g. as a consequence of the initiation of proceedings). Revocation automatically invalidates access to classified information, but the individual may appeal the decision — first to the head of the service and then to the administrative court.

The Minister shall have the competence to decide whether to abolish or change the classification given to certain documents. However, this can only be done after obtaining the consent of the individual who gave those papers the clause. In this situation, the individual is the Head of the General Staff of the Polish Army, as it is SGWP – the Board of Planning of the usage of the Armed Forces and Training who performs and assigns the classification of this category of documents. The MON under Błaszczak did not get specified approval, nor even informed the Chief of the General Staff of the HR of the intention to declassified documents. – The intention and decision to declassified parts of defence papers of the Republic of Poland was not informed by the president of Poland, who introduced the Political-Strategic Defence Directive of the Republic of Poland with a decision of 17 July 2015. The National safety Office at the President's Chancellery did not have this cognition either," said Proc. Anna Adamiak, the Advocate General of the Public Prosecutor's Office in February after submitting an application to the Marshal of the Sejm to abolish the immunity of Mariusz Błaszczak.
