The flight of the presidential Boeing 737-800 NG from Warsaw to Rzeszów was expected to last 45 minutes. president Andrzej Duda was to welcome Joe Biden to Jasionka Airport that day. It was decided that the plane had to return to Warsaw. "It stopped shaking. It seemed like we were gonna be okay. On board, however, there was a grave of silence," 1 of the soldiers recalled.
The parishioners admitted that they feared the replay of April 10, 2010. “After sending a message to my family, I just prayed,” said the minister. “It was the longest flight of my life. I did not want to join any more soldiers who died in disasters," the soldier pointed out.
"Smolensk, however, is simply a disgrace. A failure of the state. Whether you are among supporters of the explanation about the assassination, or those who are convinced of Russian and Polish negligence. It can't be that the second time, after 12 years, is one more time specified a disgrace," he continued.
