Control of the ABW is the next step after an audit conducted by the Ministry of Defence in the subcommittee of Antoni Macierewicz. The committee was to explain the causes of the Smolensk disaster of 10 April 2010. The check showed a number of irregularities.
According to Onet, it is about checking the contacts of Antoni Macierewicz with the Russians, Andrei Bowbelski and Alexander Głaskowo. The request to the services was sent to the Deputy Chief of MON Cezary Tomczyk after the publication of a study on the activities of the subcommittee to analyse the causes of the Smolensk disaster. The subcommittee was headed by Antoni Macierewicz.
The interior safety Agency will examine whether and erstwhile the erstwhile Minister of National Defence notified the services of these contacts. In addition, the ABW will check what information Antoni Macierewicz posted in the safety survey.
Antoni Macierewicz met with Glaskov
In December 2020, Antoni Macierewicz met with Alexander Głaskow. According to Deputy Minister of National Defence Cezary Tomczyk, Głaskow crossed the Polish border on 4 December 2020, taking off from Istanbul Airport and landing at Chopin Airport. On 15 December, he sent an email to the subcommittee and expressed his desire to meet Antoni Macierewicz. The gathering took place the next day at the Macierewicz parliamentary office.
After gathering Antoni Macierewicz, Głaskow left Poland on ft through the border crossing with the Królewiecki Oblast.
