Donald Trump announced on Thursday that he intends to nominate erstwhile Florida lawyer General Pam Bondi as the fresh U.S. lawyer general's office. The nomination for Bondi, who represented Trump in the first impeachment trial, follows the withdrawal of previously nominated congressman Matt Gaetz.
