Algeria plays its own game between Beijing and Moscow

The Algerian Ministry of defence announced a plan to start building Chinese kind 056 corvettes in local shipyards, thus abandoning a long-negotiated contract for the acquisition of Russian task 22380 rocket corvettes. Algeria was besides a very crucial client for Russia in the field of the navy.
