Vladimir Czarzasty announced his candidacy for re-election as leader of the fresh Left. The candidate for re-election proposed to the organization authorities Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski, Minister Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk and associate Tomasz Trela. The support of the delegates will be decided by the Sunday National Congress.

Jerzy Wenderlich, erstwhile SLD deputy chief from 2016 to 2019, supports the follow-up of Czarzasty as chairman. «He pulled the organization out of the worst political, organisational and financial problems.
