30.01.23. After twopagemirrors

On an expedition to the planet on the another side of the mirror – discovered in his time by Lewis Carroll and Alice, the protagonist of his stories – the American writer late invites, offering a Polish guide to the modern American version of specified a land. This time, however, it is not a fairy tale story, although the author immediately quotes a passage from Carroll's story, and later respective times in different places cites the metaphor of the "world operating on the another side of the mirror" erstwhile he refers to the ways and scope of his characters. Talk about reporting Matthew Hongoltz-Hetlinga p. Invasion of body healers. In American Medicine's Fools (wrote Hanna Pasierska, Czarne Publishing House, Wołowiec 2025).

The title indicates that the problem undertaken by the reporter concerns the functioning of alternate medicine, and so besides the question of what it is characterized by and why, how it acquires supporters and how it demonstrates human nature. Although the book was created before Donald Trump won in the fresh presidential election, its reading shows that during his erstwhile word he had a crucial share in the actions described in the coverage. Joe Biden then unscrewed it. Currently, after returning to the presidential function, Trump continues his erstwhile actions. For a reason, then, 1 of the first regulations signed by the “new-old” president afraid the withdrawal of America from the planet wellness Organisation (WHO).

One could immediately add that the problem of alternate medicine is not a fresh or crucial issue only in America, but it concerns in rule the full world, including Poland, and it involves fundamental questions, late rapidly growing, and not only related to diseases.

Hongoltz-Hetling starts in any event with comments that indicate that the wellness care strategy in the United States does not endure from deficiency of money, or even vice versa, can be regarded as “unreasonably overinvested” – but at the same time “oversaturated” and consequently “disfunctional” (Invasion..., p. 9). At the entrance we read, for example, that

When, in 2020, a mysterious fresh virus began swarming around the globe, the U.S. wellness care strategy received more money for subsequent respirators, masks and fresh technologies, more public aid for quarantine, more highly qualified medical personnel and test kits than the remainder of the world. [But] despite the advantages mentioned in August of the same year, the United States took a leading position besides in another category – a country with the world's highest death rate on COVID-19.
One reason for advanced mortality was that as estimated, in 2020 sixty-six million Americans refused to wear masks to slow the spread of the disease. erstwhile pollers from Brookings Institution (America can besides afford the best sociological polls) asked about the cause, the most common answer was that as Americans they have the right not to presume them. [...]
Not wearing a mask meant exercising the right to medical freedom. [...] The America-based medical freedom movement (which was accompanied by an increase in COVID-19 deaths) raises fascinating and far beyond the pandemic ethical questions about the boundaries of public wellness policy. Very frequently we encounter cases of death, which can be easy prevented. How should the government dissuade people from harmful wellness decisions specified as cocaine use, driving without their seat belts, committing suicides or buying advanced quantities of soda. Should fraudulent medicines be allowed to be sold for besides real a condition? What can we do erstwhile 2 constitutional principles collide: public wellness and individual freedom? (Invasion..., pp. 9-10).

The author intended to search answers to specified questions by planning his book, but as he immediately admits, he did not find it. "Thus," he continues with evident sarcasm –

I learned that millions of Americans who have access to [...] doctors and hospitals are sneaking into a completely different planet of healthcare – having small in common with medical institutions, public wellness agencies or science. It's a magical land of leeches and lasers, zombies and holy spirits. Its inhabitants consider it an area where they can joyfully practice their right to fight the mythical power of large Fharma; for outsiders it is simply a grim proof that humanity is not capable of change.
This book, the only wellness guide treating with appropriate seriousness the disinfection of the body with bleach, allows you to look into the planet on the another side of the mirror, describes the planet of Parascience wellness Care, its origin and how between 2000 and 2020 it changed the face of America in a way that no money can be fixed.
When you survey this planet with me, you will meet a heroic dentist, a Jesuit missionary, a gold-seeker from Andromeda, a Polish-American linguist, and a matrimony firmly devoted to God. [...] they all went on trips to the furthest areas of wellness and healing.
Their stories are very different, they take place everywhere: from Poland to Montana and the land where zombies go – wherever it is. However, they make amazingly akin trajectory: the discovery of a miraculous measure, the sense that it is required to spread it, and the obstacles and opportunities encountered on this road. I hope that gathering them in 1 place will shed any light on a place that, though chaotic and dangerous, contains many promises. At least for any (Invasion..., pp. 12-13).

Hongoltz-Hetling portrays 7 heroes. Six of them represent various examples of developing an alternate medicine practice. The seventh is the wellness strategy of America. The material was divided into 4 parts. In each we find 7 stories about the next heroes according to the order announced in the introduction.

And yes. In the first part, let's say, any experiences are described and the resulting reflections of individual heroes about how to treat any ailments and the incubation period of the thought to make a medical remedy. In the second we get a description of their mission to spread the discovery. The 3rd is about the activity to give this discovery institutionally accepted and universal status, and about the successes and disasters associated with it. In the fourth, any finale of a given communicative is reported – individual ends up in prison, individual from the FDA (Agency for Retirement and Medicines) approves the “universal remedy” created by him. The seventh chapter in each of these parts is, as has been said, the confrontation of the presented actions with the authoritative wellness system. The final chapter devoted to this issue bears a significant, valuable title: The wellness care strategy in America is simply a zombie refuge.

The first of the characters was a dentist who at 1 point came to the conclusion that “there is actually a single strategy explanation for any condition completely overlooked by the medical elite” (Invasion..., p. 23). From this, he concluded that “living beings penetrate all-encompassing, healing light: a disturbance of this energy—called qi by ancient Chinese healers – they are at the root of all the misery” (Invasion..., p. 24). He began to believe that “universal energy controls everything: from spontaneous cures to radiestet wands” (cf.). He was so working to make a medical device that would aid to tame and focus this ancient force so that humanity could enjoy better health." The universal remedy has become for him "a healing light" (Invasion...(p. 68). As a result, he produced a “good for everything” laser for the vulnerability of human cells.

The second hero believed in turn that by tampering with the rabies virus, a zombie could be created. He began working on producing dietary supplements in the belief that the key to wellness and absolute medical remedy are minerals and plant extracts.

The next claimed to have discovered a cure for cancer and diabetes, or alternatively for any condition, including erectile dysfunction and alopecia. The cure was the base-forming diet. His accomplishments were sanctioned at 1 point by Oprah Winfrey, who told her that thanks to specified a diet she got free of breast cancer.

Another heroine is Polka, an emigrant from a communist country that promoted leeches and even in 2011 in Las Vegas founded the Hirudotherapy Academy, a university that was expected to supply students with cognition of leeches and their healing capabilities.

There were those who treated only prayer. Unfortunately, they lost their own daughter, which was comparatively easy to save with scientifically justified medicine. It would be adequate to diagnose her infirmity.

Among the examples discussed was the “foreigner” who simply pretended to be a Grounder, and indeed, of which he confided to a few, he was a deity from the extraterrestrial galaxy of Andromeda and lived in various incarnations for hundreds of thousands of years. This 1 treated with ‘stabilised oxygen’, which is simply a means of water treatment. It was the alleged MMS recipe "reminiscent of light pink lemonade and tastes a bit like pool water" (Invasion..., p. 111).

Regardless of how different stories developed and how they ended, all the characters of this study made immense money at certain stages of their activities, which means that they had a sense of business and a very large clientele and that “on the another side of the mirror” there is an highly powerful world...

Polish philosopher and technological journalist, Luke Lamza, tells about specified spaces and specified activities in the book Parallel worlds. What we learn from flatlanders, homeopathics and wanders (Black Publishing, Beef 2020). erstwhile asked why it is worthwhile to deal with these matters, for example, to read “about the various ways of keeping the penguins alive on Noah’s ark or about further evidence of the global conspiracy of the reptilians,” he replies: “This is fascinating—in itself, simply as 1 of many manifestations of the human spirit” (The parallel worlds... p. 5). This book discusses, among another things, the issue of anti-vaccinationists and a reasonably common belief that they origin autism, as well as the problem of those who believe in homeopathy or in the advanced doses of vitamin C promoted in us by Jerzy Zyęba. Lamze writes:

The pseudo-scientific theories grow up on a complex medium, in which 1 can find not only ignorance and substantive misunderstandings, but besides anxiety, fear and hope (mainly in the case of alternate medicine), an exaggerated tendency to search order (especially in conspiracy theories), a deficiency of trust in public institutions and science, and a deficiency of knowing of how they function (in all cases), a disappointment resulting from the clash of beautiful ideals with imperfect everyday life (which is peculiarly easy to see in the case of anti-vaccinal movement) or various conflicts of values, It's never just that individual “thinks something stupid” (The parallel worlds..., p. 7).

Lamza stresses that erstwhile it comes to “the difference between Implantation a Anti-vaccinationThey mainly concern “the question of values, not knowledge”, including respect for human freedom, as Hongoltz-Hetling besides mentions in the American context. Lamza indicates the position of the halt NOP Association (from: unwanted post-vaccination reaction). He writes:

This organization is known for spreading the most bullshit myths about vaccination. On the formal level, however, this is due to “medical individualism”: just look at the statutes of this organisation. This paper first states, rather vaguely, that the nonsubjective of the NOP halt Association is to "promot and defend public health", "improve the safety and quality of medical services", but below is simply a real demand: it is to "respect human and patient rights, especially in the selection of methods for prevention and treatment of diseases, including dangerous infectious diseases". That is, the right to decide for yourself to undergo vaccinations (The parallel worlds..., p. 24).

A small further, the author cites the argument that anti-vaccinationists sometimes use, “that their individual choice not to be vaccinated should not worry those vaccinated. It should be, according to Lamża, that the failure of herd immunity caused by any unvaccinated individual can besides lead to the illness of vaccinated people" (The parallel worlds...( p. 27). She stresses that “refuting compulsory vaccination cannot be reduced to naive, libertarian self - determinationThat's what so many anti-vaccinationists are talking about. Self-contained decision-making about vaccination is not individualism, it's just egoism," he adds (Jw., p. 28).

He besides writes about the peculiar growth of this kind of populism in the 21st century clearly, precisely and highly interestingly Marcin Rotkiewicz Work In the kingdom of the Monsathan. GMO, gluten and vaccines (ed. II importantly expanded, Czarne Publishing House, Wołowiec 2022, I ed. 2017).

For the sake of clarity: the title slogan “Monsathan” is simply a game with the name of Monsanto's company dealing with genetic modification of organisms (GMO) and purchased at any point by Bayer. Rotkiewicz's book, as can be seen from the announcements, besides mentions anti-vaccination actions, but of course besides about the remaining problems mentioned in the title, including convincingly about the many causes and the substance of climate change, especially human work for these changes. At the outset, therefore, “we are watching a large disaster from a tallness of 10 1000 meters”, reading about what the view from the window of the aircraft confirms:

That day, I think, flying over Germany, I was looking at the [...] monotonous field board again, and abruptly I realized what was in front of me. It is only from a tallness of about 10 kilometres that I see the gigantic, terrifying degree of the demolition of the natural environment, which is hidden under seemingly lurid images. We mostly associate agriculture with the closeness of nature – the cultivation of plants or cows crulling juicy grass in the green meadow. Something that stands on the antipods of a dirty and poisonous industry. It is hard to get a better contrast than the image of smoke chimneys of power plants or factories in combination with gold grains or beautiful sunflower fields.
Nothing more wrong. We are delusional due to the fact that agriculture, from a chaotic point of view, is 1 of the most destructive activities of man. It is an absolute clash with bacteria, fungi (and I do not mean for example field mushrooms, but much smaller representatives of this biological kingdom, or molds), insects, and above all plants. The farmer’s main interest is that only the plant he planted or planted grows in his field. Almost everything else is an enemy designed to destroy: poisoning, tearing or burning. While forests and chaotic meadows are teeming with different lives, farmland is almost a desert from a biodiversity point of view. And that's why agriculture is so devastating to the environment. If pesticides are added to this, the chemical plant protection products that farmers fight insects, weeds and fungi, as well as artificial fertilizers flowing to rivers and to the seas, make a alternatively disturbing image (In the kingdom..., p. 7-8).

And so on... possibly it would be good to have even an simple awareness of the consequences of various human actions, after specified reading...

And if we proceed this small review of popular discipline literature, which concerns different spheres of disparity between discipline and human ignorance and helplessness, between ways of cultivating, financing and spreading technological discoveries and human fears and needs, between the undertaken and financed but overlooked and ignored areas of investigation and political and business interests, we could inactive callback the book Tomasz Stawiszyński Return Fatum (Sign of the fresh Literature, Krakow 2024), That was in those. Records late presented (See text entitled The planet we live in... of 19.12.2024).

In the second part of this work (Necessity, pp. 117-213), the author stresses among others the human request to discover and give life meaning. As he relates his views on all kinds of esterisms or religions, he exposes the constant search for any order, any explanation of what around him to conclude that even “a doom appears to man as a better option than chance and chaos” (Back..., p. 213.

An crucial role, let us add, is played by myths. Marcin Napiórkowski,Modern Mythology (ed. II, amended and expanded, PWN, Warsaw 2018; http://mythologywspolczesna.pl/) and stories referred to in another book of this author (see. Fix the future. Why we request better stories to fix the future Literary Publishing House, Kraków 2022). It is no wonder that in this late mentioned work, for example, there is simply a mention that is or would be in place in each of the books presented today, namely the communicative of Jerzy Zięba and his thought of treatment utilizing magic reasoning and powerful doses of vitamin C. It was already in these. Records speech (see text Reality instructions of 13.102022).

In any case, today, the spread of stories of this kind has gained incredible momentum. It seems that the greater the communication capacity, the greater the technological capabilities we have, the greater the power of alternate medicine and various conspiracy ideas. net by force. Algorithms propose appropriate content to fuel certain interests. He's talking about it. Yuval Noah Harari Work Nexus. A brief past of information from stone shredded to artificial intelligence (Trans. Justin Hunia, Literary Publishing House, Kraków 2024; see erstwhile Entries - Information revolutions... of 16.01.2025).

All of this besides applies, as it turns out, to a planet in which the shamans have a decisive voice on the most crucial issues, due to the fact that the standard is the belief of the ruthless interaction of ancestors and their surviving descendants, and the education of the inhabitants of this planet has nothing to do with it. The net can find its place anywhere. Even in distant Siberia. Shows it Jacek Hugo-Bader in amazing Shaman’s disease (HBM Hugo-Bader Media, Warsaw 2020), describing the ways of life, beliefs, including the operation of alternate medical formulas there...

In this context, it is recalled from Matthew Hongoltz-Hetling's text quoted above that "humanity is not capable of change". It means nothing more than that “life on the another side of the mirror” cannot be erased – just like that! – due to the fact that it is inactive an inherent and inactive present component of human history. It may then be worth checking whether the proposition of the request for awareness about this problem is reflected in the late discussed educational wellness education programs...
