Legend of Real Madrid and erstwhile goalkeeper Iker Casillas lost a luck worth of watches. Fortunately, the police were able to identify the individual who committed the theft.
It turned out to be the housekeeper of a footballer who was cleaning up at Casillas' house. A female partner came along with her – only 5 days after the last robbery was reported. A couple of thieves were going to leave the country – alternatively they were going to jail.
Officers managed to recover 2 of the 5 stolen watches. The investigation is ongoing. Breaking into footballers' homes in Madrid frequently happen – previously victims were, among others, Benzema, Rodrygo and Carvajal.
