The "nobility package" is simply a nationwide task that involves combining donors with needy families, elderly, sick or disabled people. Volunteers scope families in hard material situations, learn about their needs, and then donors prepare for them a package "made to fit" with circumstantial articles. The task aims not only to supply material help, but besides to reconstruct hope and show that 1 can number on another.
Soldiers of the Territorial Defence Army from the 20th Przemysl Territorial Defence Brigade joined the assistance activities related to the nationwide task "Nobility Package", supporting organizers in the process of distributing and distributing packages to the needy families. The assistance arrived during the final of the Noble Package, which took place last weekend, the alleged Miracles Weekend, during which volunteers delivered Christmas gifts to the needy.
The support of OT soldiers included logistical work, loading and unloading of gifts, as well as organizational assistance in warehouses and distribution points. Thanks to their involvement, it was possible to supply timely and efficient assistance to families in difficulty.
The engagement of the Territorial Defence Forces in the Noble Package is another example of the implementation of the formation mission, which is to supply support to local communities and to cooperate with social and charitable organisations. OT soldiers, working side by side with volunteers, contributed to the successful implementation of 1 of the largest aid projects in Poland.
Engagement in social and charitable initiatives is an crucial part of the activities of the Territorial Defence Army, which is part of the thought of service close to citizens and of building solidarity and social responsibility.
