Territorial Defence (WOT) troops strengthen cooperation with local communities
The Territorial Defence Army is working with local communities to aid them prepare for crises. 1 of the elements is the voluntary military training program “inReady” – launched by the Ministry of National Defence and the General Staff of the Polish Army – for which WOT soldiers are responsible. Growing number of soldiers and female participation in WOT

Poles inactive poorly prepared for crisis situations

Prepared to defend the country – declarations by women and men
According to last year's CBOS poll, 2 percent of women declared their willingness to participate straight in battles in the event of the outbreak of war. Among men, this percent was 20%. With respect to the declared defence support of the country, without participating in the battles, the difference is much smaller. This willingness was declared last year by 35% of women and 40% of men.
