Advanced technological solutions are an absolutely essential component of an effective border protection system. Without their application on the Polish-Belarusian border, our position would be much weaker – emphasized Minister and Coordinator of peculiar Services Tomasz Siemoniak during the XXVII global Conference and Exhibition of Borders InSec 2025.
The beginning ceremony of the InSec 2025 conference, devoted to the most crucial challenges facing structures protecting the territory of our country, was performed by peculiar Services coordinator Tomasz Siemoniak, who stressed in his speech that Russia and Belarus have made migration a weapon directed not only against Poland but besides the European Union as a whole. “We are dealing with veponisation of migration. This is simply a sign of times that illegal migrants – after all, people – are just pawns in various games – commented the minister. – Migration force at borders is not only a Polish phenomenon. Estonia and Finland besides have akin experiences," explained Tomasz Siemoniak and stressed that EU borders are a strategy of connected vessels. erstwhile Poland sealed its own, stopping about 98% of attempts at illegal crossing, Belarus and Russia diverted migration pressures to neighbouring states – Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Finland.
As the politician pointed out, the remedy must have a multinational dimension. “There is simply a B5 group of 5 countries in the Baltic States. In the last year, cooperation in this group grew significantly. On the 1 hand, it is utilized to exchange experiences, on the another hand it allows to respond more effectively to phenomena that have effects in another countries – said Tomasz Siemoniak and added that further steps to seal the Polish border were besides necessary. He reminded me that On 7 July 2025, controls were introduced at the Polish-Lithuanian and Polish-German border. "It is simply a loud matter, however, which clearly shows that effective border protection requires the cooperation of all the countries concerned", commented the coordinator of the peculiar services, who powerfully emphasized that the services protecting the Polish border must have decently trained officers, equipped with state-of-the-art method solutions for their tasks.
The XXVII global Conference and Exhibition of Borders safety InSec 2025 was divided into 4 thematic sessions, dedicated among others. the Tarcza East programme, hybrid threats to national safety and the modernisation of method services and formations guarding national borders. Within the framework of InSec, the alleged voivod debate took place, where representatives of the Podlasie, Podkarpackie and Warmia-Masurian authorities discussed the biggest challenges faced by local local government and local central government structures in relation to threats to the safety of the state. 1 of the topics discussed was shelters for civilians and safety of critical infrastructure.
The organizer of the conference under the patronage of the ministries and services liable for the protection of the state border, i.e. the Ministry of Interior and Administration, National Defence, abroad Affairs and Border Guard, was the Management Board of the Warsaw Fair. Honorary patronage over this year's edition of the event was taken by: Marshal of the legislature of Poland Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Deputy Marshal of the legislature Michał Żywno, president of the Parliamentary Committee on interior Affairs and Administration, Railway Protection Service, Government strategical Reserve Agency and Minister of peculiar Services Tomasz Siemoniak.
