TISSA crushes Fidesz in election polls. This is simply a clear sign for Zbigniew Ziobra and Marcin Romanowski, who are in Hungary, that they may shortly gotta pack and look for another country that gives them political asylum.
The organization led by Péter Magyar does not only gain an advantage in most independent polls. With the strong mobilisation of voters of the current opposition, triumph over Viktor Orbán can give the constitutional group a majority.
Independent organisations investigating electoral trends in Hungary give Fidesz between 35% and 37% of support. At the same time, the Telex poll gives TISZA as much as 58 percent, a survey for Kutatóközpont 56%, and the respect of support suggested by Závecz investigation is as much as 51 percent.
TISZA has no intention of continuing the Hungarian asylum tradition for PiS politicians
The subject of Zbigniew Ziobry and Marcin Romanowski is not a abroad leader who noted success in the party's polls. Péter Magyar addressed the PiS politicians in a very direct way: "If, after the formation of the government by the TISZA party, they proceed to reside in Hungary, we will extradite the first day," said the group leader during the press conference on February 15, 2026.
Let us remind you that the politicians of the Law and Justice are associated with irregularities in the Justice Fund. There are 26 charges on Ziobra, including charges of directing a criminal group and embezzlement of public funds. He was followed by a BOLO. Romanowski, on the another hand, is suspected of as much as 19 crimes related to, among others, illegal resolution of the previously mentioned fund.
So far, gentlemen have been able to number on Viktor Orbán's hospitality, who has a weakness for PiS-related politicians.
Where are they going to run Ziobro and Romanowski if Orbán loses?
There is already a stock exchange of countries to which PiS politicians can go after the Hungarian opposition takes power. It seems that this time they can go even beyond the borders of Europe.
Together – Adrian Zandberg – suggested that Zbigniew Ziobra and Marcin Romanowski are waiting for a somewhat warmer climate than the Hungarian one: "They go to any another country, to Argentina or somewhere to Central America. individual will definitely hug them," said the politician on RMF FM.
On the another hand, writer Gazeta Wyborcza and TOK FM – Dominika Wielowieyska – shared in the social media a somewhat different guess, which, if true, may even origin an global scandal.
"Interesting: According to Tisha politicians if Viktor Orbán loses the election, Zbigniew Ziobro and Marcin Romanowski intend to flee to the US. They don't have passports, just a temporary travel document, so they request visas to the States. I wonder if they'll get it, wonder if they're already dealing with the Donald Trump administration. It would be a hostile act towards the Polish state," she said in the entry on the X.
Let's add that this script has been mentioned a fewer months ago. In the fall of 2025, even informal talks were to be held with those around Donald Trump. Marcin Romanowski himself did not deny that specified talks continued. "For the power of the White home it is apparent that they are subject [Ziobro and Romanowski – ed.] to political harassment. But will this lead to asylum at this level? I don't know. I would not be surprised, it is surely possible – Mr Waldemar Bud's Euro MP argued.
