Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky has said he is ready to sit down at the negotiating table with Vladimir Putin if that is the only way to reconstruct peace. "If that is the only configuration in which we can accomplish peace for Ukrainians and not lose people - of course we will do that," he said in an interview with British writer Piers Morgan.
