Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenski will visit Washington on Monday at the invitation of US president Donald Trump. The main intent of the visit is to discuss initiatives aimed at ending the war with Russia. Zelenski announced his visit after a telephone conversation with Trump and teleconferencing with European leaders about the Alaska meeting.
