A photograph from the briefing of field commanders at Pokrowski, attended by the incoming Commander-in-Chief General Alexander of Syria, announced Infosphere. Officers look at Syrian – diplomaticly speaking – without much enthusiasm. On the second phase stands tired Gen. Kyrylo Budanow, commander of military intelligence HUR, who took with him 11 commandos and UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters. Readers of my articles are aware that I am not an enthusiast of the kind of command that Gen. Syrski has, but it should be said that he went under Pokrowsk. It is simply a consequence of media force imposed on him by Ukrainian journalists, but the consequence is that Ukrainian soldiers have a chance to last the retreat from the elevated positions at Pokrowski – which was not so apparent on Friday.
