On Tuesday morning, a long-term worker of the Ministry of National Defence was detained at the office of the Ministry of Defence at Ale Niepodległości in Warsaw. According to MON on X, the detainee was charged with working with a abroad intelligence. A man was expected to spy on Russia.
The arrest of a MON worker was reported present by the Ministry of Defence press service. "The allegations of cooperation with a abroad intelligence have been presented to the public," says the release on X.
The investigation is carried out by the Military Counterintelligence Service, which, during the implementation of the operation, collaborated with the Department for Military Affairs of the National Public Prosecutor's Office and Military Police. Trials are presently underway.
The Ministry of Defence shall not disclose any additional information for the time being.
