Is it possible you'll pay a higher taxation on your home telephone than your own apartment? Turns out it's legal. In a letter of 6 December 2025, the Ombudsman expressed serious doubts as to the constitutionality of the current rules on the taxation of economical buildings. But the Ministry of Finance in its answer of 23 December 2025 left no illusions: everything is in line with the Act and the Constitution.
