"You are a surviving evidence of freedom against enslavement". Karol Nawrocki presented the Crosses of Freedom and Solidarity

On December 13, 2024, at the Museum of Cursed Soldiers and Political Prisoners of the Polish People's Republic in Warsaw, the Cross of Freedom and Solidarity was awarded to erstwhile activists of the independency opposition from the years 1956-1989. On behalf of the president of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda, the decorations were presented by the president of the Institute of National Remembrance, Dr. Karol Nawrocki. The ceremony was attended by Piotr Duda, president of the National Commission of the NSZZ "Solidarność".
