Increase in housing prices since September 2026 by amending the Building method Conditions Regulation

The amendment to the Building method Conditions Regulation will enter into force on 20 September 2026. The improvement manufacture estimates an increase in construction costs by 10-15 percent, which will translate into higher housing prices. Changes include energy efficiency, fire safety, acoustics and mandatory elevators in multi-family buildings from 3 storeys.
