The 2 Sisters Publishing home published a message about breaking cooperation with Tina Oziewicz, a popular author of children's books, due to the fact that she disagrees with her statements “concerning Israel and Gaza Strip’. Oziewicz announces a book for youth about anti-Semitism.

Ozewicz is simply a postgraduate of English doctrine and philology. She obtained a PhD from the University of Wrocław. Since 2007, he has been writing children's books, published mainly by the 2 Sisters. A series about feelings has gained peculiar popularity, among others: “What do feelings do?”, “What do feelings like?”, “What do feelings do at night?”. The author was rewarded and appreciated many times for her work.

At the same time, the author on social media shares her thoughts on the mediate East conflict. She condemned Hamas' terrorist attack, refused to usage the word “genocide” against what was happening in the Gaza Strip, and, above all, paid large attention to the crimes occurring in another countries. “More people were killed in 1 week in Sudan (150 thousand) than in the 2 years of the war in Gaza. Did anyone from pro-Palestinian activists and influencers who wrote “All Eyes on Rafah” always mention the genocide in Darfur?” she wrote a fewer days ago. “53% of Palestinians think the 7 October massacre was ‘right’”, she alarmed in early November. She besides stressed that “no 1 kid would have died in Gaza if Gaza had not started a war.”

In October, Oziewicz criticized Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and the global Red Cross for failing to respond decently to the drama of innocent people kidnapped on October 7, 2023 to Gaza. “I will always stand by those who rejoice erstwhile hostages return home, not those who kidnap people and keep them in underground tunnels for 2 years.” She besides recalled that there are 22 arabian countries in the planet and 57 countries with a Muslim majority, so there is nothing “nobility” and “righteous” in the fight for another specified country at the expense of 1 single judaic state.

Publishing 2 Sisters decided to cut off from their author. “We do not agree with Tina Oziewicz’s statements on Israel and the Gaza Strip,” wrote the publisher’s representatives. “Therefore, a fewer months ago, we decided not to print another book, scheduled for October of this year, and we do not carry out any fresh projects with her”.

Tina Oziewicz announced on social media work on a youth book about anti-Semitism.

Piotr Strzemieczny, organizer of the judaic Culture Festival in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, emphasizes that “it is not possible to slow down due to views”. In his opinion, the author should file a suit against the publishing house.
