The 2023 parliamentary elections are over. The evidence turnout has made the votes counted over a long time across Poland and it is only now that we can give actual results of the elections. However, it must be acknowledged that the State Election Commission has stood up to the task and we have not waited, for example, a week to announce the authoritative results. If specified a script were to take place – known from the US, for example, where the last counting of votes sent by post took a long time – there would be destabilisation and undermining of election results.
Fortunately, present we know 100% who won the election and will be able to form a government. Although PiS received the most percent of votes, the opposition will take over.
These are the final results of the elections: Law and Justice — 35.39 percent, Civic Coalition — 30.68 percent, 3rd Road — 14.41 percent, Left — 8.61 percent, Confederation — 7.16%.
Now the president will be able to entrust the mission of creating a government to the individual he wants. It will most likely be a policy of Law and Justice, which, although the government will present, will not be able to gather a parliamentary majority that will give him a mandate of trust. Then the initiative will go to Parliament, which, let us not be afraid to say, will give a vote of assurance to Donald Tusk's 3rd government.
