An different scene featuring Vladimir Putin and Sergei Lavrow was shown in Russian media. The recording was published by the Kremlin propagandaist Paweł Zarubin.
"A joke" delegation during Alaska talks
It shows how U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio jokes about the controversial sweater in which the Russian abroad Minister appeared at the Alaska summit. There was a sign on the sweater that said "ZSRR".
Rubio, pointing to Lavrow's suit, says, "I like your outfit," referring to a change of clothes by the head of the Russian MFA.
Lavrow explains the situation to Putin, who, without covering his amusement, points to his minister with his finger and says, "Imperialist".
As a substance of fact, there has been a recording in the media since Friday of a gathering between Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and U.S. president Donald Trump, on which the Russian puts on mines and ostensibly avoids answering journalists' questions.
His behaviour – full of superiority – attracted the attention of journalists who asked him questions, among others, about civilians dying in Ukraine at the hands of Russian soldiers.
It is not clear how well Putin knows (or understands) English, but at the end of his gathering with Trump he said to him "Next time in Moscow".
