A soldier of the Military Gendarmerie and a police officer rescued a man who lost consciousness in a park in Pisz. Uniforms took CPR twice. Before the ambulance arrived, a 46-year-old boy who had previously complained of chest pain regained vital functions. “I am very glad that we could help”, says prof. Krzysztof Plumka from the Faculty of Warsaw University of Technology in Bemów Piski.

After a while, an ambulance arrived. “We gave the patient with restored vital functions to a doctor,” he adds.

The full action lasted a fewer minutes. With a fast and effective response, the life of a man was saved. Prof. Krzysztof Śliwka admits that for the first time he has experienced this situation and is very satisfied with effective assistance. "I am besides glad that in society we are seen not only as people who are keeping order, but besides as those to whom we can turn for help," says the MP.

The spokesperson for Chief of the Chief Military Police Colonel Paweł Durka emphasizes that this kind of attitude is commendable and builds assurance in soldiers in society.
