Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 28.01.2026):

• Moscow continues air strikes on Ukrainian energy infrastructure. The explosions took place that night in Kiev, Lviv, Chernichov, Odessa and Dnipro. 80% of the Cherk circuit has no electricity.
• At least 4 people were killed in the attack of 3 Russian drones on a civilian train in the Kharkiv Oblast. There were a full of 291 passengers in the wagons.
• Ukrainians were yet driven out of the key town of Nowojakowliwka on the Zaporosian section. This opens the way to winging the main defensive position in Orichów.
• On the Pokrowski section, Russian forces proceed to engage around the village of Nowy Donbas.
