Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 18.01.2026):
- Ukrainian unmanned drones attacked Kapustin Jar in the Astrakhan region of confederate Russia.
- The Russian rocket destroyed an crucial power substation in Bogoduchów, in the Kharkiv region. There was a complete suspension of rail traffic towards the circuit capital and so besides supplies for the army.
- A akin but little crucial attack on the substation for logistics took place in Nowomajskie, close the thin Horn. Clearly Moscow wants to paralyze Ukrainian transport. The head of the Ministry of abroad Affairs of Ukraine warns against further specified attacks.
- On the Zaporosian section, the Russians occupied the village of Pryluki, along with its adjacentities. Another mark in this area is Olenokostianniwka and Wozdwizhenka, where Russian peculiar forces already operate. They usage the Ukrainian side to have besides small strength to seal the contact line. In turn even the recon drones are incapable to see everything.
- On the Slavic section, Russian forces broke the Ukrainian defence and entered Privilia, so far located 10 km from the front line.
- The fierce fight over Liman continues. At the same time, Russian drones attack all vehicles that approach the besieged city.
