The Russian-Ukrainian War. study 06.03.2026

Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 06.03.2026):

• Ukrainians attacked the Russian Saratov drones and respective another cities. A shot down Ukrainian drone fell in Sevastopol, Crimea. The detonation damaged the residential building and injured respective people. At the same time, Russia continues its own drone and rocket attacks in Ukraine, although they are no longer as spectacular as in fresh weeks.

• The front battles are practically dead. The Russians seized only Jarowa village on the Liman section. Ukrainian counteroffensive in Donbas is besides stuck.
• The Kharkivs were seriously fired on. There's no power in town.
• Moldova has declared a state of emergency, due to rapidly rising gas prices.

• Moscow announced preparations for the exchange of about 500 prisoners on each side. It is scheduled to take place on 5-6 March as part of the negotiating arrangements.
