

The United States has introduced regulations that affect the export of advanced semiconductors to artificial intelligence (AI) for countries of Central and east Europe, including Poland. High-ranking representatives of the European Commission expressed concern about the sharpening. The same category included the alleged countries of the global south, including African countries.
The restrictions introduced by Washington include Poland on the list of countries with limits for the acquisition of the latest semiconductors specified as those produced by Nvidia. These restrictions besides apply to another countries in Central and east Europe, as well as Portugal and Switzerland, with the anticipation of importing up to 50,000 chips (with the option of extending to 100 thousand).

The Royal believes that "these restrictions should not apply to Poland as 1 of the top providers of minds for the improvement of AI in the world, in addition to the chips themselves".
“After many conversations and activities of Polish business and tech industry, most American tech business sees these restrictions as harmful — it has cost us quite a few work/environment, so it is simply a request not to talk on the policy side. My information besides shows that either this year we will return to tier1, or these restrictions will be lifted. Also, let politicians not decision this very well," said Jarosław Royal.
