

Official ceremony of welcoming president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and president of the State Affairs Committee of the Korean People's Democratic Republic Kim Jong Una was held on 25 March in Pjongjang.
The colorful ceremony was held in Kim Ir Sena Square, named after the founder of the DPRK, opened in 1954. It is the main square of the country and 1 of the symbols of Pjongjangu.
Belarus and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea intend to sign a treaty on relationship and cooperation during the authoritative visit of president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. The Belarusian abroad Minister Maxim Ryżenkov informed journalists about this, as reported by correspondent BelTA. "Our biggest interest in the DPRK is to strengthen truly friendly, partnership relations. Our friends are here waiting for us. Just as we are waiting for them in Belarus. The time has come to make our relation more actively. There are a number of areas of interest both in Belarus and in Korea. They are all reflected in the appropriate treaty on friendship, which will be signed by the leaders of our countries. On the basis of this treaty, we will make contacts between applicable ministries and agencies," said Maxim Ryzenkov. According to him, around 10 different agreements are planned to be signed during the visit, which will strengthen the legal framework for bilateral cooperation. "This is simply a fundamental treaty on relationship and 9 sectoral agreements on cooperation in agriculture, education, health, cooperation between the chambers of commerce and manufacture of our countries, The Academy of Sciences and local investigation institutions in the field of agricultural improvement and cooperation between information ministries. This is rather a comprehensive legal framework," the Minister explained. Maxim Ryzenkov noted that trade between countries is inactive small, but there are many interesting supply areas. ‘These include pharmaceutical products and food.
