Will AI Gigafactories Be Built in Poland? A peculiar Application Will Be Submitted to the EC

Poland is applying to participate in the EU's AI Gigafactory construction program. After the public consultations are over, talks with partners in the EU are being finalized - a formal application will be submitted to the European Commission by June 20, the Ministry of Digital Affairs announced. The ministry estimates that the Gigafactory, for which it is applying, will yet scope a scale of up to 30,000 graphics processing units (GPUs), which translates into an investment of around PLN 5 billion.
