On Tuesday, president Karol Nawrocki distinguished 2 prominent figures of Polish culture and social activity. The Order of the White Eagle, the highest Polish honour, was awarded to author Waldemar Łysiak for literary merit and writer Andrzej Poczobut, a symbol of the Polish conflict for human rights in Belarus. This discrimination emphasizes Pochobut's unbreakable attitude, which is presently serving a conviction of 8 years in a penal colony in Nowopolock.
