Vietnam wants to buy American aircraft

Conversations on US aircraft exports to Vietnam have been conducted for respective years, and this is the consequence of the abolition of the U.S. arms embargo to that country in 2016. Today, it is the American people who mostly want to improve their relations with the country with which they fought a bloody war half a century ago. It's about getting a valuable ally in Asia in a possible conflict with China. The benefits would be mutual.
