The U.S. is reducing staff at its embassies in the mediate East

The State Department has ordered a simplification in staffing at its missions in Jordan, Lebanon, Qatar, and the United arabian Emirates. U.S. intelligence warned Secretary of State Marco Rubio that Iran had “significantly escalated” its efforts to mark U.S. diplomats and officials in the mediate East and beyond, and that the plans had reached an “advanced stage.”
