President Karol Nawrocki and the head of the National Bank of Poland, Adam Glapiński, announced the "Polish SAFE 0 percent", which is to be an alternate to the EU defence debt program. The proposal "is to take advantage of the very fact that NBP has reserves", said Rafał Leśkiewicz, spokesperson for the head of state.
