The European Commission presented fresh proposals for migration policy during the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg. "We are changing the rules of the game. A comprehensive migration policy must be fair, but besides ruthless. We are starting to put our own home in order," Brunner said, announcing, among another things, the introduction of a European return order.
