In the capital of Denmark, the Copenhagen Competition Summit 2025 was over. The event was attended, among others, by European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen, French president Emmanuel Macron, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.

Statement by the president of the WB Group

Piotr Wojciechowski, president of the WB Group, stressed in his speech that he represents the largest private maker of unmanned defence systems in Europe.

“The experience gained by the WB Group in combat practice in Ukraine for respective years has created the possible to supply effective solutions to combat drones. Importantly, production is based on components and components of European origin," added Piotr Wojciechowski.

The summit culminated in the signing of Copenhagen Pledge – a declaration in which 28 European manufacture representatives, including the WB GROUP, signed a common position on readiness to increase investment by 2030.

The companies invited to the summit are already generating a full gross of nearly EUR 700 billion. This consequence can grow rapidly, as long as politicians and decision makers manage to make conditions conducive to innovation.
