The Sejm besides hosted the inauguration of the task entitled "VETERAN UNDER BALO-CHERLAND". The ceremony was besides attended by Marshal Simon Holovnia.
On 6 November this year, Deputy Minister Stanislaw Wzątek opened the exhibition "Soldier - Always, Despite All", which was authored by the Association of the injured and injured in missions outside the borders of the country. The Sejm besides hosted the inauguration of the task entitled "VETERAN UNDER BALO-CHERLAND". The exhibition opened present presents the silhouettes of veterans injured during service in the Polish Military Quotas outside the state. It does not empathize with wounds, but emphasizes the ethos of hard service of Polish soldiers. Veterans are active in the service, in the Ministry of National Defence and in society despite the wounds they have suffered today. These are the people who have done and are inactive doing a lot for our homeland.
I look at the people presented on these boards, and I think that what the Republic of Poland could best offer them today, is the belief – supported by real action – that their service does not end, but progresses into a fresh phase – said Marshal Simon Holovnia of the Sejm inaugurating the exhibition "Soldier always, after all".
During the ceremony, the statue of "A arrogant Veteran" was presented, and the task "A Veteran under White and Red" was inaugurated – a motion of gratitude to those who proved that the word Homeland is of real importance.
The Association of the Wounded and Damaged in Missions Outside the Borders of the Country established in 2013 the statue of "The arrogant Veteran" for companies and institutions supporting both financially and in substance the association's efforts to assist wounded and injured soldiers in missions. The award does not only affect financial support but besides a broad cooperation and commitment of the recipient to support the veterans' environment.
