The first year, erstwhile the full-scale war broke out, we opened houses. Hearts. Wallets. Borders.

Four years Ukraine is being bombed. 4 years people live in fear. Women and children escape war, rape, death. In the first year of full - scale war, we acted as Christ taught us. We opened houses. Hearts. Wallets. Borders.
We were solid. We were human.
Unfortunately, with time, something began to happen, which in our past repeats besides often. erstwhile aid ceases to be a spontaneous impulse of the heart and begins to require consequences, patience and renunciation, we reduce Christian values to our presence at Mass. In ourselves, selfishness, fear, and resentment begin to germinate.
The communicative coming from Moscow – reinforced by Polish political screamers – began to bring out the worst from us: jealousy, suspicion, sense of danger.

She: (sighing) I realize there's a war in Ukraine and we should help, but... I don't get anything. I gotta work hard for all penny, and these Ukrainians come and get everything on a platter.

He: Wait. They escaped from rape, death, frequently with children under their arms and 1 suitcase in hand. Our Christian work was to aid with the device – the roof over our head, safety. Now they have the same rights as you, nothing more.

She: (clapping) I'm not. They're inactive getting help.

He: From who? Give me a circumstantial source.

She: I don't know... from social services? I can see that.

He: After this first package of support they have precisely the same rights as Poles. Access to doctor, school, household benefits. But they work for it. Did you go to all that problem to see if we were paying them or if they were paying us?

She: Why should I check? It's known to be us. Everyone knows that.

He: It's "don't know." Let's check the hard data, even from ZUS. There's no 1 there who'd dare lie due to the fact that for falsifying accounts, you go to jail. Listen: receipts from Ukrainian wellness contributions to the NFZ from 2022 to 2024 are over PLN 9 billion. And the cost of treating refugees? About 2.1 billion. Do you see the difference?
They contributed nearly 7 billion to the wellness of Poles.
In 2024, they generated almost 3% of our GDP.
For all gold they received from us, they gave you PLN 5.40 in taxes and contributions. Poland gets rich on them, you know?

She: (sees absent sight, as if words reflected from the window) Maybe... but they could be more grateful. Until they had a steady job, they were more polite. Now it just happens.

He: What do you mean "past"?

She: They're sprayy. They don't respect us.

He: You work with them, you're not friends. I've been in the infirmary for 3 years, as a patient, seeing O.R.s from Ukraine. They're incredibly good and hardworking women. What's with the venom?

She: possibly a gym... In our town, most people just shine their asses for money. There weren't that many prostitutes before.

He: The law of request and supply. If there are prostitutes, then there are clients. They don't rape men. possibly you should think about the ethics and fidelity of our men. For some, sex is like alcohol – they always find a way to drink.

She: Do you want me to tell you how many sacramental marriages they broke up?

He: Say

She: (with outrage) Don't be insolent! And I, as a mother, will never let our boys go after Ukraine!

He: How did you even get the thought our boys were going there?

She: (with triumph in voice) They're driving and they're dying! Poles, English, even Australians. It's what they've been saying on the Internet, and they've been showing pictures.

He: (Resigned) On the Internet... They're volunteers, mercenaries. People who go there of their own free will, sometimes for adrenaline, sometimes for conviction. They were not sent by the Polish government, nor the Volunteer Fire Department, nor the Scouts.
Speaking of sending any soldiers, it's only as peacekeepers to defender the ceasefire if Russia and Ukraine get along. No 1 will send NATO troops into combat due to the fact that that means the end of the world, a atomic war.

She: (turns his head back to the prayer book) I know what I know anyway. They were writing the fact on the Internet...

PS This conversation, which was more factual, took place... I'm sad.
