The violation of Polish airspace by the Russian Su-24 aircraft on 15 April 2014 and by Belarusian helicopters on 1 August 2023 cannot be compared. In the first case, an intruder was tracked and no decision was taken to shoot it down, while in the second case no decision was taken to shoot down the intruders due to the fact that they were not followed.
