Russian media provided information about the crash of Russian multitasking aircraft Su-27, nevertheless the Russian Ministry of Defence corrected this information, stating that it was about Su-34. Unofficial reports show that Ukrainian forces were not active in the disaster – the incidental occurred in the western part of Russia.
