Venezuela declares state of emergency after U.S. "military aggression"

Venezuelan authorities declared a state of emergency and put safety forces on full alert after overnight explosions and reports of attacks on military facilities and infrastructure in respective regions of the country. The government in Caracas said the actions were a consequence to what it called military aggression by the United States.
